This is what I think a goal is:

1. Explain what you think a goal is.
(a) A goal is something you that you set out to achieve.

(b) Sometimes to achieve a goal, you have to split it up into smaller bits and take one step at a time.

(c) A goal is something that makes you work hard, to get better at something.

(d) I think a goal is something which pushes you harder to reach the next level.



2. Explain how you think goals help you.
I think goals help you because you are aiming to get better at something you couldn’t do, something that you wanted to do or needed to work on. When you achieve this goal you will not only be better than you were before but you will be learning what you needed to do to achieve this in the first place.



3. Describe what happens when goals don’t work.
(A)You can use this as an opportunity to learn from your mistakes.

(b)You might have planned every thing out but you might not have done any everything to achieve it.

(c)When a goal doesn’t work you might just need to go back and break that goal up into smaller bits and look at the part that went wrong and work out how to change it. You might need to do this several times.
